Dr. L. Mahadevan is a Post-graduate, MD Ayurvedic Medical Doctorate (Ayurveda Vachaspathi). He studied in his clinic in the traditional manner for 4 years and was exposed to both classical and Rasa (Ayurvedic alchemy) styles of treatment. He conducted classes for Ayurvedic medical students in the hospital and given lectures and seminars in many parts of Tamilnadu.

He belongs to a traditional Ayurvedic Family. His grandfather, Dr. Y. Mahadeva Iyer, was a renowned Sanskrit and Vedic scholar and a successful Ayurvedic physician. He established a reputed Ayurvedic hospital, Sri Sarada Ayurvedic Hospital, at Kanyakumari District, the land’s end of India.

Dr. Shekhar Annambhotla, B.A.M.S., M.D.-Ayurved, born in Tangutur, Andhra Pradesh, India in 1963, is an Ayurvedic Specialist who was trained in India and has been practicing and teaching ayurveda worldwide since 1988.

During his extensive travels, he delivered lectures and offered consultations on Ayurveda for health professionals and for the general public. He gave several newspaper interviews and radio talks on Ayurveda and was also interviewed on BBC’s Breakfast Television.

Dr. Marc Halpern, (Ayurvedacharya) is one of the pioneers of Ayurveda in the West and is considered to be a pre-eminent practitioner and teacher of Ayurveda in the United States. He was awarded the All India Award for Best Ayurvedic Physician as well as the Caraka and Sushruta awards from the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America (AAPNA).
